Dustin Norlund, <strong>President</strong>, heads the Thrust Aerospace Inc operations. Dustin left the airline industry early in 2006 to found Thrust. Since then the company has progressed quickly from offering only limited group of engineering services to offering a more complete engineering services array and multiple leading software solutions. Dustin intends to focus the company's growth around providing value added software solutions and professional services. Previous to founding Thrust Dustin worked multiple jobs within the American Airlines and American Eagle engineering organizations. Here Dustin held jobs ranging from entry level engineering to the Director of Engineering. One of the more interesting jobs that Dustin worked was the Trans World Airlines (TWA) merger and acquisition team. On this unusual project, Dustin worked to integrate the maintenance and engineering functions of the two airlines. Between his tours of duty at AAL Dustin also worked with Jouve Aviation Solutions as the Manager of Business Development and Customer Support. Here he was responsible for overseeing the management of Jouve's Product Support group and later responsible for sales and marketing of their software and services. Dustin is a graduate of The University of Kansas where he received a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Dustin holds a Private Pilots License and an Airframe & Powerplant License. |
