Structured Authoring Environments PDF Print E-mail

Before you begin to create and edit structured content, you must first have an authoring environment to assist you in this task. There are a number of good structured authoring tools available. Whichever tool you choose, Thrust can assist in customizing your choice to provide the best possible authoring experience. A customized authoring environment will usually consist of a document schema, coupled with style sheets for both editing and preview. Additional customizations may be possible depending on the tool that you choose.

Thrust can produce customized authoring environments for source documents maintained in XML, SGML, or HTML. Thrust has experience producing environments using market leading editors:
