Technical Writer

A Technical Writer will write and/or revise a variety of technical manuals for customers. The writer is responsible for taking marked up documents and authoring the changes into production ready documents. The writer may also be tasked with basic graphic manipulations.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within aviation maintenance and flight operations. A candidate should also have the ability to professionally interact and effectively communicate with staff members, customers and suppliers. We are currently seeking writers that are fluent in Spanish, Mandarin, or French which can author in English.

To qualify for these jobs the candidate must have 3 or more years of aviation related technical writing experience. Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite is mandatory. Prior use and working knowledge of XMetaL, XML Spy, or other markup language editor is desired. Engineers

An ideal candidate will have a BS or MS degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college or university. Other suitable experience may supersede this requirement for an Engineering Degree. The applicant having training with Six Sigma or related and an A&P license will be considered a plus but is not absolutely necessary.

Extensive knowledge and experience in aircraft structures, power plant, systems engineering, and life cycle management with progressive experience in analyzing, designing, developing, integrating, and testing engineering solutions for major airlines systems, subsystems, and equipment is desired. Engineers experienced in any one of these areas will be considered. Three to seven years aircraft operational experience or related experience is preferred. CAD / CAM / 3D Modeling Experts

An ideal candidate will have a technical degree from an accredited college or university and 5+ years of related experience in the aerospace field.
